FACIAL REFLEXOLOGY

Facial Reflexology is a gentle and non-invasive technique achieved by using the fingertips for pressure-point massage on the face and scalp.  It has the same wonderful healing benefits of foot reflexology but in addition you will gain an enhanced natural glow!  The techniques used will help stimulate collagen and elastin production which can improve the overall condition of your skin and help it to appear plumper, fresher-looking and more radiant.   Facial reflexology improves blood and lymph circulation.  It enables toxins to be eliminated and helps calm the central nervous system.   

Facial reflexology has been practiced for centuries in many countries around the world.  It involves the application of pressure and massage on specific points on the face and combines the use of acupressure and Chinese meridian theory.  In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the face is a microsystem of the internal organs with different parts of the face corresponding to different organs.

Your first appointment will include a short consultation where we will discuss any health issues or medication you may be taking as well as any skin concerns you may have. This will allow me to check for any contra-indications and to create a bespoke treatment.

Your treatment will take place while you relax, fully clothed on a comfortable massage bed.
Each treatment includes various elements of an holistic facial using certified organic products and hot towels scented with essential oils.  Elements of an Indian Head massage are incorporated along with a facial reflexology treatment where a range of Japanese Face Lift massage techniques and gentle pressure is applied to different reflex points on the face. Also applied are special tools including rose quartz spheres, acupressure rollers and Gua Sha to de-puff, lift, sculpt and smooth the skin. 

Afterwards you will have time to relax with a glass of water and I will show you some simple techniques to use at home that will enhance your results.
